Washington wine country is expansive and each region and town has its own distinctive character. In certain areas there are a plethora of outdoor activities; in others there are few. Some areas offer many fine dining opportunities; in others you have to know where to look to find a tasty meal. At times you will find yourself in big budget tasting rooms; and at other times, you may end up tasting in a shed.

But bear in mind, “big budget” tasting rooms do not necessarily equate to “good wine”; nor does tasting in a shed translate to “bad wine”. And some of the region's best food is not served on a white tablecloth! It’s not that easy, unfortunately!
